Bright lights burning my eyes tonight…

I haven’t updated in forever but then again not many things change…except the red lights…lol

Hank has finally begun his journey into the wild wilderness of Meadowvale. Overall he seems to stay close to the house and doesn’t do much, I think he just enjoys the outside. Today I went downtown with shanny to see her schools fashion show in which one of her pieces was being modeled. It was pretty fun, you could see the obvious differences from the clothes as to who could sew, and who could design well. Got to see some titties…lol

In other news, it looks like our landlord wants us out so he can sell the townhouse, so I will be moving downtown with Shannon. We’re trying to find a house to rent, hopefully with some other people to keep it cheap. There’s one place that seems nice with 5 bedrooms for $1800/month close to ossington subway. If we could find 3 other people it would be perfect, then rent would be reasonable and we’d have a spare bedroom. plus.

I haven't updated in a long time, which I don't care as not much has happened besides going to whistler. Come to think of it, I don't know if I even posted about the trip at all. I will have to look back.

Today is such a boring day, I have lots fo work to do but it's all shitty work that I have to do here. Most is data entry and scanning which albeit easy, also very annoying. So I smoked a bowl and am now listening to doom's special herbs vol 456. I have to see this is an amazing instrumentals album. I wish artists released their instrumentals before they bring out the full album with lyrics, that would be so much more enjoyable.

I am trying to get into a new profession. I am thinking about becoming an apprentice electrician. I think it would be a wicked job, so much power ;) haha, that was lame

I just installed a new video card which I am testing for a client. It's very nice, it's the ATI all in wonder 9800 pro. It's got everything....remote, tv tuner, HDTV output. I'm excited. Anyhow, I have to fuck around with it and make everythign work properly so when I go to do the install, which will be hooked to a plasma tv, I don't look like a dumbass.

I love my new job...I work part time, get paid wicked cash and I can work whenever I want. Made a solid $1000 cash this week from my boss...I got an email this morning saying "thanks for the good work, enjoy the weekend" with a $500 e-payment attached to it :-) All I want is to pay off my debt. $1000 down, $19000 to go...hahahahaha

I bought a new winter jacket yesterday which is exciting. It's goretex, and it owns...I am cool for being excited by this...fuck all of you, I know what you're all thinking ;-)

Lastnight sam, marcus, shannon and I went to see team america and it was actually pretty entertaining. Some of it was dumb but what can you expect from the creators of south park.

This week has been crazy. I started work with the new boss and work kicks ass...we started yesterday on the motorola project which will be next week. Basically motorola rented this expensive mansion on the kingsway that we figure cost about $2 million dollars for a product unveiling. We are doing the tech work for them while they demo to media and shoot mini commercials. There's about 10 products we have to figure out how they work and then we have to make sure that the actors don't fuck everything up when they are showing how it all works to the media in their presentation. The cash is crazy though...I am being contracted to them at $195/hr in which I get about half...damn

In other news, I was approaced by a friend who has started working for a sports memoribilia company, to help them do a print catalogue with all their product (signed jersey's, pictures, movie posters, etc), so I am doing work for them. The other night we did a signing with theodore, jovanovski, smyth, and draper :-) Wes gave them all bottle of dom perignon and then we drank the last 2 bottles, drank some beers, smoked a J and celebrated the store officially opening...the store looks amazing. This saturday I'm helping with the signing for bosse. This side job is gonna own

Well well, I have not updated in so long and so I figured I have a few hours to do nothing so I will change that.

I have gotten most of my shit moved into the new place and so far I really like it. It's nice to have people around who aren't assholes, not like matt was an asshole, but kat needs a good donkey punch, that bitch is crazy. Anyway, I painted my new room blue and white which looks awesome and once I get all my shit setup the room will look awesome. We have a 3 month old kitten named marley who is nuts...all she does is run around the house and bite people...she also likes to explore things, like your garbage! damn cat...but it's so cute.

Last sunday was dave's big party and well a party it was. Soooo many people I had not seen in years literally, so good. I drank a bit too much...but whatever, it was his going away party. I knew things were gonna be bad when I was doing shots of tequila and china white at the same time. for those of you who don't china white is..

I had my procedure this morning and overall it sucked. I was scheduled to have my cystoscopy at 9:30 this morning so I wasn't allowed to eat or drink past midnight, so I had some pretzels and sun chips before I went to bed so I wouldn't get hungry. I figured I might as well go to bed early mainly because I am tired and technically these are my days off this week so I was asleep by 10. I got up at 6am when they came in to do bloodwork so I talked to shannon online for a bit then went back to sleep until about 8:30. A wide variety of doctors did come in to see me this morning...urologists, rheumatologists, some fellows, some residents, some students...but no procedure. They finally came to get me at 12:45...I was so hungry and tired of waiting around in my bed with nothing to do and nowhere to go.

I laughed in the OR waiting room..one of the nurses comes walking over and says "I know you"...then she lifts up my sleeve, looks at my tattoo and says "yep, I had to cover that up last year when you were here because it spooked me out, grim reaper's and the operating room don't mix" I just laughed, as did she. Then every nurse and doctor had to come and look...lol

The procedure went fine but now it burns like a mofo when I pee. First time I had a pee afterwards, I had to lay down because it hurt so much but the next time was better but still burnt hardcore...not cool

Anyway, I finally got some food at 3:45 and so I feel much better now. Gonna chill in my room all night, watch some tv and possibly a few more chappelle episodes on the laptop. I also brought the GBA so I am sure I'll get into some original mario brothers...hahaha

Well well well, time for another fun filled update with mike.

What fun you ask...none really, I don't have much to talk about.

Today my mother and step dad are coming to see my new place. Not sure how long they will be here but I'm sure we'll go out to dinner afterwards. I have to entertain them for a few hours this afternoon until my little brother gets off work so he can come over as well.

In other news, we bought this new pimp couch for the new house. It's this big ass sectional light brown suede couch with a loung thing on the end, it's so wicked. I can't wait to play video games in it. Also yesterday I turn on my main computer and it seems to boot normally until I open c drive which is actually missing, so I figured the drive is being dumb and so I remove it and put it into my external drive case and start it up...the drive tries to power and then shuts off so I think the logic board is shot, so now I have to search out a maxtor 40 gb drive that is exactly the same as mine so I can switch the logic board to try to make it work. If it doesn't then I have lost some important shit, such as all the writings I had from when I was sick...I wrote everything down :(

Other than that, the only thing that is new is that I now do not sell computer upgrades but computers. Upgrades you make no money but it's a consistent amount of little money whereas with computers you can make lots of money but you have to fight for it with about 10-15 other indian guys...lol I will stick around and see over the next couple pay cheques how I do. I've made more working in computers this past 3 days than I normally do in 8 shifts in upgrades so I think it will work out well.

Friday night and what am I doing, watching the transformers movie...ohhhh yeah. Actually I went to work today and it sucked...I was doing alright until one of my customers returned some stuff which cost me $30..not much but on a slow day it blows. I tried to switch my shift tomorrow so I could work the close shift so I could go with Kat to the home decor centre to look at flooring and colours and stuff for the new house, but I found out that one of my co-workers suddenly has "heart problems and cannot work this weekend"...how convenient on the long weekend...motherfucker. Next was another guy who apparently has some citizenship thing or soemthing like that and Kathy actually does have heart problems so she's off too...so I look after my department by myself. Normally we have 3 people opening...nope, just me...fuck. I'm gonna snap and start calling customers bitches and sluts...lol

I'm waiting for shannon to call me, apparently her mom is sick, I hope things are alright. I have the urge to watch the fifth element and I don't know why...the same with star wars, return of the jedi...I might go rent that too. And I want some ice cream. I feel so stressed and I don't know why...movies and ice cream...holy shit I sound like a woman...hahahaha...crazy bitches

I don't feel like typing...I'm going to plan a random killing game, possibly some man hunt or fallout.

Well I am moved into the new place and alll is going well besides the fact I need a job that gives me more than 30 hours / week so I can pay my bills, but that might be taken care of today. Branko has a friend who used to work at the madd hatter who now works full time at a placement agency and said she'd hook me up with a job if I came in, so I have her card. Today I will head down there and hopefully I find something new. I am not really picky over where I work, it can be a nice labour job in a warehouse for all I care, I just need consistent work where I know how much I'll make every 2 weeks.

Nothing really is that new to talk about. I am excited over the summer coming, it's finally warming up which means we can all have parties and BBQ's ;-)

Anywho, I am off to check on my dress shirt, it best be dry...peace out nigga's

I hate my system, my kidneys are fucked yet again so I am stuck in DC til at least tomorrow. If my function isn‘t improved tomorrow then I will be hospitalized…fanfuckingtastic. The worst thing about being here is how alone you feel…knowing the closest friend or family member is a 10 hour drive away. I have no extra clothes, I need to shave, I haven’t slept…bahhhh

Anyway, I checked out an apartment at glen erin and battleford and it was really nice. Decent sized apartment with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom, plus a solarium. It’s $1150/month but includes all utilities. It allows for cats and dogs too  I have been talking to the potential roommate about it, but I am hoping we can get into this place…it would rule.

I am going to bed, I get to wake up at 6am and get my ass down to the hospital so they can drain more blood from me to test…I deal excitement

The other night I was flipping through the stations and I stumbled upon that nick and jessica show...jessica simpson is fucking retarded. There were some other people with them and they were eating dinner...the one person asks jessica if she wants a buffalo wing and she responds "I don't think I'd like buffalo"...she was serious, she honestly thought buffalo wings were made from real buffalo...they had to explain things to her, what a fucking knob.

Anyway, tonight I am going to meet a potential roommate. It's actually a gay guy named mitchell, he messaged me on roommates.com and so I gqave hima call, seemed like a really nice guy. He wants to find a place in milton which is fine with me, thinking about it more, I might prefer it... smaller, slower area, more like where I live now. Anyway, I'll see how it goes tonight, but on the phone he seemed to have a good sense of humour. He even has a comp sci degree which means he's partially a computer nerd...hahahaha

It’s 2pm and I should be at work but no I am at home getting wasted!!

I did go in to work, I even showed up early because I knew I was the only one opening (normally we have 2-3). Anyhow, my customer showed up from yesterday who was gonna get some upgrades done…my colleague Ali (whatever the fuck his Iraqi last name is) comes along and “helps them”. They show him the quote I gave them lastnight and so he steals the whole sale which was $40 in commission, it’s not a lot but it’s the principal. He knew I helped them, he was there last night standing beside me when I helped them…he even went out of his way to process the sale at a till far away in hopes I wouldn’t notice…so I made a bit of a scene and told them I was leaving and I just left. I will deal with it all sometime next week.

I drove home very fast, stopped off at the liquor store, got my supplies and I am gonna drink til I calm down or pass out…either one will do.

In all honesty I am just pissed with how things are. I am so close to the school year being done and that gives me hope but I hate my program, I hate my job, I don’t want to live here…I am just angry with life overall.

I am happy with some aspects of my life…I have had a lot of changes in the past few months. Breaking up with Ashley was tough but I know it was for the best. I still think she’s an amazing person and I hope I can stay good friends with her, and I also hope that things work out for her with school and her future as well, life’s too tough. I haven’t mentioned anything really in the past few months with respects to Shannon. Things were all so new and I’m still trying to work out my own issues with certain things but overall it couldn’t be better.

What can I say, I am bored in so many ways. One being the fact I have school which I have lost interest in and don’t even want to finish my program. I don’t want to do programming for the rest of my life, come to think of it, I really have no clue what I should do. I think next year I am just gonna work full time and try to figure things out. I feel like I am in such a rush to plan out my future and with the competitiveness of the world, I feel like I’m being forced into making a quick decision so I don’t get left behind. I’m only 22, I have to keep telling myself that. I need to become a teacher, then I could full perfect of art of living well and doing fuck all. I think that will be my new goal, find a way to become a teacher so I will have a stable future.

Holy shit I am rambling.

I am really looking forward to getting back to Mississauga. Although I bitched about it when I lived there, it isn’t all that bad. Everything you need is there or close by. I just hope I can find a decent roommate. I wanted to get a 1 bedroom place but until I work for a couple years I think I should have a roommate to keep the costs down. A nice place with a roommate $550/month max…shitty one bedroom $800…so roommate it is. Then I can save cash to get of debt, then find my own place.

So today has been a good day so far, I am feeling much better. Last night I finally got a good night’s sleep. First night I haven’t had weird dreams in weeks. I got up and checked some stuff online then trekked it down to kitchener and met chera-lynn (kiscica) from SG for lunch. I haven’t seen her since Christmas and we didn’t have much time to talk at that event because of some car breakdowns and other things which killed the night. Anyway, we went over to crabby joes which happened to be half price fajita day :-) so I got that and chera got a corona cuz she had no money. I offered to buy her lunch but she declined. We had a good talk over lunch and will be doing it again this Friday with Tushar who hasn’t come out in fricken forever.

I am listening to drinking songs and it makes me wanna get shitfaced. It also makes me miss shows…I miss the pit…I miss getting hurt…I miss dancing! This summer I’m gonna go to many shows, get drunk and knock over all the new punks…lol

Back to my day. After lunch I came home and did all my laundry which really needed to get done as I had no clean clothes left. These two prissy girls came in and were talking very loudly about how they didn’t know how to do this and that…so I knew as soon as I turned towards them they would harass me and they did. I gave them the lowdown on the various machines and some tips. They had to be about 20 and they were fucken lost when it came to washing clothes, made me laugh.

Tonight I will head out with Ugly to the pub where we will drink and create crazy summer plans which we’ll never go through with…like the 24 hour drinking fest with diapers and kids tricycle racing…hahahahah

In other news, I will be moving back to Mississauga soon in my quest to find a decent full time job. I’m not gonna finish my college program, but I will transfer to humber and finish a program there…networking or something like that.

That’s about it, back to king size braces!

I really don't want to go to DC tomorrow, I feel like I was just there a couple weeks ago but it has been a month. It's the leaving at 3am that I hate, I won't even get back til about 9pm at night.

Anyhow, I think I'm gonna move back to the mississauga for may 1st but I gotta convince the land lady to either let me out of the lease or I'll have to sublet it. I am hoping she just lets us out of the lease. I think I am gonna look for a 1 bedroom place back home.

I had a 1 hour phone conversation with sasha today. I didn't realize how much I missed having her around until I talked to her today. I told her I'd take her for a coffee or something this weekend but I am not sure when that will be, probably sunday. I tried to track her down a couple of times but it always just said her phone was no longer in service. Anyway, she's moved back to mississauga as well, so I can chill with her a lot :-)
